Entering Words using the Dictionary View’s Keyboard

One way to view the contents of the dictionary is to scroll up and down in the word list. This could get tedious if you are looking for a specific word in a dictionary of 6000 entries. For this reason the letter buttons are provided.

As letters are entered by tapping on the keyboard the dictionary word list is advanced to the first word having the entered letters as the words prefix. By using the keyboard it is possible to locate words in the dictionary fairly quickly.
